Escorted tour operator Insight Vacations recently launched two exclusive tours set to depart in August: Rome to London in Focus and A Snapshot on Europe.
Each tour group will be accompanied by a professional photographer throughout the tours and an extra night will be spent in London for guests to catch the atmosphere following the 2012 London Olympics.
Both tours are planned to heighten not only the guests’ experience of Europe’s exciting locations and highlights, but also to capture the best images of the cities with the camera equipment they bring along.
Travellers will be guided to take note of the creative aspects of photography such as composition and viewpoint, as well as technical considerations including depth of field and movement.
Guests will embark on a comfortable two-and-a-half-hour Eurostar train journey from Paris to London during the second-last day. They can look forward to spending a day in London, which is an additional item to the usual itinerary. Holiday-goers will be able to plan activities with their loved ones and friends or venture alone to take in the excitement of the post-London Olympics on this free-and-easy day.

Rome to London in Focus – a 10-day tour covering Italy, Switzerland, France and England that gives travellers lots of photo opportunities at the Vatican Museum, St Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel in Rome, and scenic drives around the Swiss Alps.
A Snapshot on Europe – a 12-day tour covering cities in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France and England that will allow many beautiful pictures to be taken at highlights such as the Golden Roof and Imperial Palace in Innsbruck, and the famous Louvre Museum in Paris.
The Rome to London in Focus tour will depart on 11 August 2012 and is priced at US$3,471 per person. A Snapshot on Europe tour will depart on 8 August 2012 and is priced at US$3,840 per person. All rates are based on a twin sharing room (land tours only) and airfares are not included.
