Hui Yan Moon, director of Hong Kong-based Swing Media Technology Group, increased his equity stake in the group when United Partner Investment Ltd transferred 17 million shares to Hui as part of the earlier agreement.

Hui now has 4.98 per cent direct equity stake in Swing Media. He also has 22.93 per cent deemed interest in the company.

Elsewhere, Lim Keng Hock bought an additional 600 million shares at S$0.017 per share in Next-Gen Satellite Comm Limited from Telemedia Pacific Group. The transaction increased Lim’s equity stake to 10.55 per cent from 1.15 per cent.

Meanwhile, Japanese firm Osaki Electric Co Ltd now owns 66.75 per cent of switchgear manufacturer SMB United Limited when it offered to buy some 326 million outstanding shares at S$0.405 each as part of the group’s takeover bid for SMB United.
