Mark the start of a prosperous new year as you toss their specially recommended Fortune Yu Sheng with Norwegian Salmon. You can also take your pick from Yu Sheng served with golden abalone, lobster, tuna, ikan parang or even go vegetarian. Dine like an emperor with provincial specialties such as Abundance roasted suckling pig, mini Buddha jump over the wall, Superlative bird’s nest with crab roe, Braised whole Yoshihama abalone in supreme oyster sauce. Lastly, finish off the sumptuous spread with the Three Treasure treats, which offers the Double boiled hasma with American ginseng and steamed layered Nian Gao among other sweet servings, in an ambience of rich Chinese heritage at Shang Palace.

Set menus are priced from S$108++ per person to S$238++ for 6 people and above. The Lunar New Year Set Menu 8 is a two-day advance order priced at S$8,888.88++ for a table of 10 people. Inclusive of a complimentary bottle of Moët et Chandon Brut Imperial NV jeroboam (3 litres).

Experience a royal fusion as chefs take the customary dish of Yu Sheng during Chinese New Year up a notch with their own concoction of Lobster, Sliced Abalone, Gold Leaves, Fish Roe, Fresh Scallop, Salmon, Tuna, Sea Bream, Passion Fruits, Mango, Jackfruits, Rambutan, Kiwi and Young Coconut, a spectacle to behold in the seven-course Impe- rial Set Menu. Welcome the Lunar Year of the Rabbit with auspicious feasts galore at Jade restaurant. Master Chef Leong Chee Yeng presents a variety of creative presentations for gourmet indulgence. Located in the Central Business District of Singapore, Jade is a good venue for hosting corporate tossing of Yu Sheng. Take your pick from five individual menus or feast from the four Family Style set menus available from 2 February to 17 February 2011. The four Family Style set menus all start with Eight Happiness Gold Rush Salmon Yu Sheng with Champagne Jelly, Olive Oil and Apple Plum Dressing, and highlights include Roast Duck with Foie Gras Flavour, Double- boiled Chicken with Ginseng and Abalone wrapped with Lotus Leaf, Sauteed Lobster in Fragrant Herbal Pesto Sauce, and Braised ‘Nian- Gao’ with Seafood and Chinese Cabbage in Chicken Broth.
